38+ Jooq Update Return Value
Pics. Returning wouldn't be too much of an add. Insert into table (id) values (?) why is there '?' instead of number 1 ?

Jooq update set not populating values. This question is an extension of jooq: How does jooq fit in this paradigm?
That would depend on whether the caller did anything with the false return value.
The earlier parts of this tutorial have taught us how we can configure the application context of our application. Just check it, if it updates 3 rows and return 3 what do you need more ? When updating rows i want to use the returning clause to return the old value (before the update) and new value (after the update). This section demonstrates the use of jooq in now let's update the existing data:
